Kevin Richardson of the Backstreet Boys recently participated in the ALS Ice bucket challenge while his bandmate and good friend Nick Carter released the official music video for his new single with Jordan Knight.
On August 17, the Backstreet Boys uploaded a new video to their official YouTube channel that shows Kevin Richardson partaking in the ALS ice bucket challenge.
In the video, after his wife dumped a bucket of ice on his head, Richardson apologizes that it took him so long to take part in the challenge, as he was on vacation with his family. He then nominated Shania Twain, Coach John Calipari, and Coach Mark Stoops to complete the challenge as well.
While Kevin and his wife enjoyed some much-needed time off, his fellow Backstreet Boy Nick Carter is hard at work on his side project with Jordan Knight.
The duo have joined forces as Nick & Knight and have released a new music video for their single “One More Time.”
The video features the two singers pretending to be photographers at a shoot who are wooing a pair of pretty models, who are clearly having a great time flirting with both Carter and Knight.
According to Rolling Stone, Nick & Knight will release their debut LP on September 2, 2014 and then will promptly hit the road for a 37-date U.S. tour.
Carter also reassured his loyal Backstreet Boy fans that he has no plans on leaving the group, either. He also hints that the band may tour South America, Asia, Australia, and even Africa as well.
The blonde singer also announced that the band will work on a new album once they’re done touring and have had time to recuperate. Plus, fans will also be able to see a new Backstreet Boys documentary that is slated to hit theaters sometime next year as well.
